Signaltron's QSFP is designed for 100G Ethernet applications, capable of transmitting data up to 10 km over single-mode fiber. It is compatible with a wide range of infrastructure as it meets IEEE standards, including 802.3ba 100GBASE-LR4.

It is RoHS compliant and free, and supports a 103.1 Gb/s aggregate bit rate along with an I2C digital management interface. Its 4X25Gb/s NRZ interface helps to achieve a 100Gbps data rate by utilizing four parallel channels or lanes, each running at 25 Gbps. It also has built-in digital diagnostic functionality.
