STDU-ID is a DU that can support up to 3 sectors of 5G in a single compact rack enclosure. The solution uses expandable modules that make it highly versatile and flexible for operators to handle. It is scalable with slots for up to 8 PCIe-based 4G baseband modules, 3 PCIe-based 5G baseband modules and 1 Timing synchronisation module. The 5G baseband module is based on FPGA based hardware platform for complete hardware L1 implementation.
